Enhance lips with Surrey lip filler
SOLVES:
- Asymmetrical lips
- Thin lips
- Smoker’s lines
Create symmetrical, fuller lips with natural-looking lip injections
We offer natural-looking, Surrey lip injections, performed by a qualified, experienced doctor or nurse.
Some people are born with thin lips. However, as we age, we all lose fat, moisture and volume in our entire face; our lips are no exception. For both these reasons, people seek out lip augmentation procedures.
Using very low-risk substances, temporary dermal fillers can define the cupid’s bow and vermilion border (the upper and lower lip contours). With special, precise techniques, our doctors can create virtually any lip shape you want.
Procedure Time: 30 – 45 min
Anaesthetic: Included
Treatment Recovery: 1 – 3 days
Risks & Complications: Minor swelling, redness
Treatment Plan: Every 4 – 6 months

Why you’ll love lip filler injections
Low risk*
Fat transfers and surgical, synthetic implants are expensive and dangerous. Temporary lip fillers use hyaluronic acid, a substance naturally found in our bodies.
No downtime*
Lip augmentation using dermal fillers involves little to no downtime. You can go back to normal activities right away.
Temporary & reversible
Don’t like the results? Hyaluronic acid is dissolvable! It’s also temporary, so you can change your look from time to time.

Why us?
Expert injectors
Only licensed doctors and nurses perform injections at our clinic. They are highly trained in the ‘art’ of dermal fillers. Their experience allows you to look natural, while achieving a subtle, improved look.
Our lead physician, Dr. Shah, is one of the first doctors invited to be trained on the MD Codes™ method.
Cannula method
Our on-staff doctors or nurse are trained and experienced with the cannula method. Using a cannula for dermal fillers requires an additional skillset. It offers more even distribution, less pain and bruising, and a much lower risk of side effects.
With the cannula method, hyaluronic acid gel is inserted via fewer injection points (when possible), while avoiding blood vessels. Learn more here.
Ultrasound guidance
Our lead doctor is trained and qualified to use a portable, ultrasound device to guide injections.
Ultrasound imagery helps the injector see where old filler is located under the skin. This way, it can be avoided, or dissolved. This allows for smoother results, and fewer complications. Learn more here.
What type of lip filler do we use?
To plump the lips using lip filler, we typically use the Juvéderm® brand line. The brand itself offers a series of hyaluronic acid (HA) gel fillers, made for different parts of the face, décolleté or hands.
The Juvéderm® product that is made for the lips is called VOLBELLA®.
The reason we stick to Juvéderm® is that it is known to last the longest. It gives our patients the most value for this procedure.

A Botox® lip flip!
We’re not limited to dermal fillers for lip enhancements. We can also use Botox® to shape the vermillion border.
Botox® helps turn your lips slightly outward, to give the illusion of fullness.

Will my lips look natural? Can I choose how I want my lips to look?
Yes and yes! With lip filler, you can have natural-looking or very full lips; it’s up to you!
Some people love the exaggerated lip look. Others want a subtle ‘lift’ and ‘plump.’ Some want a defined cupid’s bow. Some just want a raise, curl or lip wrinkle filler. Specially-trained doctors or nurses can do it all.
During the procedure, a doctor or nurse will learn about the type of lip shape you’re after. They’re great listeners and will do their best to achieve your goals.
Do lip injections hurt?
Lip injections can pinch a little!
The good news is that our doctors and nurses know how to avoid ‘pain spots,’ to keep you comfortable. Most people don’t even flinch when getting lip fillers.
Not only that, we start with topical anaesthetic before the procedure, to help reduce pain.
Plus, the formula we use comes with lidocaine, an anaesthetic that works very quickly (like the ‘freezing’ you get at the dentist).
What can I expect during a lip filler treatment?
You will start with a consultation to determine your needs and wants.
You will then be prepped with topical anaesthetic, to help reduce pain.
When it comes time for the lip filler injection, you’ll feel small needle pricks around your mouth. This is a pain-reducing step.
Afterwards, the doctor or nurse will insert the gel filler via a cannula. The cannula method will help to distribute the product evenly in different areas. We use special techniques to ensure the lips look symmetrical and smooth.
You will be disinfected with alcohol before, during and after the procedure. A doctor always has an assistant to help with this at our clinic.
Finally, you will be advised on aftercare when the procedure is complete.
How long do lip fillers and injections last?
Lip fillers from injectable hyaluronic acid solutions last around 6 months. This is a bit shorter than when they are used in the face, because the lips are very mobile.
Botox® used for a “lip flip” may last 3 – 4 months.
In the end, the length of time any injectable can last will depend on how your body reacts to it. For some people, injectables last longer than expected, while for others, they dissipate sooner.
Are your Surrey lip injections safe? What about side effects?
Risks or side effects from hyaluronic acid lip fillers are very rare. You may be swollen, tender and red for a few days, due to the injections themselves. But this will subside, and you’ll see your newly shaped lips soon after.
You should not drink alcohol or take blood-thinning medications for at least a week before and after the procedure. This can cause bruising. Please speak with your doctor before stopping any prescribed medication.
The most important factor in keeping you safe during this procedure is going with a highly qualified practitioner who knows what they are doing. Injecting the wrong type of hyaluronic acid product, for instance, can be problematic. Injecting too little or too much gel can cause misshaping. Hitting a nerve, or going too deep can be unnecessarily painful.
You should not receive certain dermal fillers if you are allergic to their ingredients.

The cost of lip fillers will depend on your specific case, and your goals. Ultimately, we will need to calculate price based on the amount of product we need to use, to achieve your desired effect, and the time it will take. Some people opt for a so-called, ‘mini lip injection’ procedure, because they want something subtle, on lips that are already thick. This will, of course, cost much less than a so-called, ‘Kylie lip job’ if you are starting out with very thin lips.
The best way to find out the price of lip fillers at our Surrey clinic, is to come in for a consultation. This will be a first step, regardless, since we will need to learn about you, and your health history, before the procedure.
