Laser Skin Resurfacing with Fraxel, Rhytec Plasma & Erbium Resurfacing
Laser Resurfacing is an excellent choice of treatment for those patients who have scars, deep wrinkles and saggy skin. Resurfacing works by removing the layers of skin until you get below the wrinkles or scars. Once the skin begins to grow epithelium again, about 3 to 5 days after treatment, there is a rapid increase in skin renewal and cell turnover.
The benefit of this type of treatment is that certain types of scarring will be removed, and most medium depth wrinkles will be removed so the effect is that of a high end face lift once the client has healed.
Laser Resurfacing in our practice is accomplished by using Fraxel re:store , Rhytec Plasma (PSR) and Erbium Resurfacing machines.
When we recommend Laser Resurfacing to our patients it is because they have scars, deep wrinkles or saggy skin. However the choice of method varies:
If you want scars removed Laser Resurfacing with Fraxel is an ideal to consider.
If you want deep wrinkles taken care of but you can not afford any downtime then Laser Resurfacing with Fraxel re:store is a good option. If you do not mind about down time then Laser Resurfacing with Rhytec Plasma (PSR) is an amazing treatment of choice.
We also use these Laser Resurfacing Treatments to remove sun damaged skin.
Sometimes patients come in with just one area of need where Laser Resurfacing is needed and we will often use Rhytec Plasma (PSR) or the Erbium Resurfacing Machine.
Many times we get patients who have combination of problems and often Fraxel re:store or the Rhytec Plasma (PSR) will suffice and often the decision boils down to how much down time the person wants to put up with and how quickly they would like to see the result.
Laser Resurfacing requires skill and the ability to follow up the patient in order to avoid any complications.
We possess the latest Fraxel re:store or the Fraxel SR1500 as it used to be called and the Rhytec Plasma (PSR) as well as an Erbium Laser.
